No. There is no way to get field-data from the other drawings in the project without actually creating a sheet set, and add the projects drawings to it.

If you have a look at the drawings properties (the AutoCAD properties, not the AcadE properties), you can see that AcadE actually writes some of it's properties to some custom attributes there, so they can be used in fields.
