Electrical commands not working in acade 2014. Please help

I am having an issue with acade 2014.  My electrical commands will not work (wire, right clicking component) but acad seems to work ok with lines and aving.  I have seen this problem other places with no clear answer.  I have seen hints that it is an issue with the file pathes.

Please help...I am really hearing it at work for my projects being slowed to a halt.

So, I guess you've tried the tips in that thread 🙂

Try resetting the settings, like in this post:

Thank you so much.  I was not aware of this feature.  I am still curious as to what caused this, and if anybody has a solution where I would not have to reset all of the default values I would appreciate.  But this will work just fine in the mean time.  Thank you again.
