Duplicate Wire Numbers

There are times when I prefer to number the wires myself instead of using the Auto-wire Number feature. Is there a way to prevent using the same wire number built into the program? Also, is there a way to check for duplicate names of components?

Electrical Audit will alert you to duplicated wire numbers. However when I am doing sequential wire numbering I use auto wire number and only pick individual wires. That way ACADE automatically picks the next available number.

I use something kinda like this, as part of my edit component dialog (needed my own) to check for parent/child brother/sister type stuff... it might be something down the right path for you
