Dialog box images

Hello,
I created a custom Support folder on our server and put our icon menu.dats and some other stuff there, and added a path to it in Options/File locations.
The images in the dialog boxes are not showing anymore (like the wd_m picture or the boxes in the insert rung command)
Where are these, how do I get them back?

Lynne,
There are some *.slb slide library files that are installed into the same
folder as the icon menu ".dat" files. AcadE expects to find these slide lib
files in the same folder as the icon menu ".dat" files are in.

I believe you have two options:
1. copy the *.slb up to your new folder where the icon menu files are now
located
2. edit your wd.env file and enable the "WD_SLB" entry. Point it at where
the slb files are located.

Let me know if either of these approaches doesn't give you what you're
looking for.

Hi Nate,
Attached are two word documents that list the files I have in GT_Support (on the server) and icon_slide_library, which is within GT Support.
I moved all the slides and libraries into icon_slide_library and my env points to icon_slide_library.
I suspect there are other files I should move (viewslid.dlc?) but don't know which.

You can try this, but I don't think it will help... there are some slide lib
files in "c:\program files\autodesk\acade 2006\support\" folder. For
example, wd_local.slb contains the images for some of the configuration
dialogs that you're missing. Try putting a COPY of these up on your network
folder and see if any of the missing images show up.

Thanks Nate!
That did indeed work (I copied acad.slb, gepb.slb, s_ldpc.slb
wd_local.slb, sdsig.slb and wdsig_slb over to icon_slide_library)
So far I all my dialog boxes now show the icons.
Was there a better way to make sure that all users can see the same Insert Component and Insert Panel component dialogs?

BTY, your response was much quicker, and more helpful than the Subscription help. I sent a request for support through subscription for this, and still have not recieved a reply.
