I would like to see what block you are using. The terminal symbols have
TERM01 for all 4 sides, because wires can come from any direction. But each
terminal only gets one designation, either the strip ID alone, the wire
number, or a specific terminal sequence number, such as TB1 terminal 1, as
with symbols like HT0002. But I would suggest using the AcadE component
copy command and also use the Edit Component tool, rather than Enhanced
Attribute Editor. You can use Enhanced Attribute Editor but you need to
know exactly what attributes you are manipulating and be certain what you
are doing. The Edit Component tool automatically pops up the appropriate
dialog for things you can do to a terminal. It is editing the attributes
within the block (and some xdata as necessary) but it triggers other code
that maintains the integrity of the symbol.

I have a question regarding attributes I see in a component when I double
click on it & open up the enhanced attribute editor.
I have a component, a terminal block on a schematic drawing. It is connected
to two wires (R in term1 & L in term2). Then I copy the component and &
place it in a drawing rename it w/a new location & connect two new wires to
it. A & B. Now if I double click on the component it opens up the Enhanced
attribute editor & shows that I still have R & L wires connected to it.
Is there a way to update the component to show the new wires now attached to
it A & B? I am using ACADE Ver 8
