Can you disregard the XREF of linked components?

Does anyone know if you can set AutoCAD Electrical to disregard showing the XREF (Cross Reference) of linked components on the same page? I have pushbutton symbols that have linked chile components on the same page as parent and child components on another page in project. I want to show the component XREF of child on other page and not show the XREF of the linked component on the same page. I realize I could just manually edit the XREF value out but then if I update the cross referencing then it comes back.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreaciated.

Hi.

If you set the value for the CONTACT-attbibute to "NULL" (Instead of NC or NO) on the child component on the same page, it won't be included in the cross-reference table.

Use the Properties/Quick Properties palette to access the CONTACT attbiute.

You must also run the update Cross-references after you've done this to see the changes.
