COMPONENET NOT RETAGGING

Hi,
I had to retag a project using a new component naming format.
One one page, everything retagged except two itentical components. They are not "fixed". I even deleted the bad tags and then retagged them by picking, and the tags still took the old unwanted format.
Couple other questions. If I decline to update a related component (like a panel component, with a rating) can I do it later in a batch?
Thanks
Lynne

Lynne,

For the retagging issue, the components that are not retagging might have an
tag override format defined on them. To check this, edit the component and
in the 'Component Tag' section of the 'Insert./Edit' dialog select the
'Options' button. The dialog that appears should show a tag format override
if one is defined. You can just blank out this format in this dialog.

When you decline the update, you should be given the options "OK', 'Task',
or 'Skip'. Ok will update the related components right then, Task will add
the updated to a task list that you can run later to update these, and Skip
will not update any related items. If you select the 'Task' option, there
is a toolbar button on the Project Manager, that will become available
(button has a green check mark on it). Just select this button and it will
bring up a list of all the updates that have been tasked and you can then
run all or selected tasks at this time.
