Black Box Builder - Footprint attributes

Why does Black Box Builder generate the X#TERM## attribute on footprints? I thought these were only used on schematic symbols as the wire connection point.

If I delete them it makes no difference that I can see to the functionality. They are certainly not required according to the list in the help.

They are required for wire connection points, unless I've missed something between revisions! If you're talking about part footprints for panel layouts & such, you certainly wouldn't need them there, but Black Box Builder isn't intended for only schematic, or only panel footprint blocks, so it includes attributes pertinent for both types of block.

Don't know if this answers your question...did I understand it correctly?
