Batch Plotting not completing request

hey everyone;

I've been trying to batch plot a series of drawings to an ethernet printer, anything between 10 and 100 dwgs in AutoCad Electrical, and it will not process past four or five drawings.

I've noticed in the past that if I have all drawings in a project file opened then tried batch plotting them, it works fine, but if only one of the drawings are opened, it will only process a couple of the dwgs.  

Is this supposed to happen like this or is AutoCad getting hung up on something?

I'd say hung up.

Sometimes if the plotting hasn't already been setup for a particular sheet it will stop.

i.e. if you have single plotted at some point sucessfully each sheet, then usually the mult-plot will work

conversely, if the 5th sheet doesn't have plotter set properly, it might pause/stop when it gets to that sheet
