Autocad electrical 2013 deployment setup

I was asked to tackle this but have never created a deployment file before. I would guess that this has been asked before, but is there a step by step guide to do this to include file sharing of the databases and other items that may need to be configrured? I know if done wrong may cause issues down the road when upgrading.

thanks

Jason

If you log on to AU online, Eric France and Stan Wile had a good class on this a few months ago.

You can download all you need to read here:

We created the deployment file and specified the locations of the shared folders. It created the files on our network. But what seems to happen is that when adding a symbol, the menu still points to the local hard drive. Is there a way to change the path or does it need to be done in the wd.env file? If so what needs to be edited in the wd.env file? I looked at the presentation but didnt quite understand what needed to be modified and modified to what. If the wd.env needs to be modified, what type of editor should i use to change the file? Notepad?

thanks

Jason
