To add data to the catalogue is easy.
First insert a component into a dwg
Then do a lookup
On the left hand side down near the bottom is a button labelled 'Add'. Click
on it
Fill in the data as required.
Click 'OK'
The information is now in the catalogue..
Another way is to directly edit the default_cat.mdb file using
Microsoft Access.
If you have a footprint to tie to the catalogue entry, you will need to
edit the 'footprint_lookup.mdb' file.

I have been looking around in the user's guide for a a way to add new
components/materials to the catalog, utilizing blocks we have established in
previous drawings, giving those blocks information in the catalog such as
part number, manufacturer, etc., but I can't seem to figure out how to do
this. I read that it may involve the symbol maker somehow, but I'm not
positive. Could someone help point me in the right direction?
