AEEXPORT2SS - Signal Symbol Attributes

Does anyone know of a way to have this AEEXPORT2SS utility export/import additional attributes that are added to custom Signal Symbols?

For example, Added DESC2 for custom source/dest. symbols and need to have DESC2 values imported via spreadsheet utility.

As the utility runs out of the box currently (2014), I can run the export utility on signals, then add the DESC2 column to the spreadsheet, and then import the revised spreadsheet and the values will be imported into the DESC2 attributes.  They do remain, but if you have to add new signals post-importing, the next export to spreadsheet, will not export the existing DESC2 values, and so the work must be repeated.  Is there a template file that can be addressed for the different export to spreadsheet reports shown here, that will allow the user to template their results for their needs?

Would be nice to have direction on editing the Signal DCL file also to show the DESC2 edit box and values in all of the related Signal dialog boxes similar to the ones below. If anyone can provide direction on where to begin or if that customization is possible also, that would be helpful.

Find the file wd_xls_all_template.XLT.

Make a backup copy of the file and then open the original.

Select the SIG sheet at the bottom.

Highlight Column I and insert a new column so the it is between DESC1 and (FILENAME).

Select the first cell in the new column and enter DESC2 (in capitals).

Save the file making sure to use the same name and location of the original.

Try the signal export and if it doesn't work, close and restart ACADE.
