ACE2010 IEC standard is not installed

Hi,

I have recently switched from ACE2009 to 2010. during installation I select IEC as my standard. but after finishing installation I found that it has been installed with JIC standard. all components are in JIC mode. I tried twice. but it is repeated each time. and I am sure I have configured the software in IEC mode. what should I do?Smiley Sad

I see this post was awhile ago. Have you resolved this? To install additional libraries follow these directions (also found at http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/AutoCAD_Electrical/enu/2012/Help/0266-Symbol_L266/0272-Use_mult272)

During installation, you specified which symbol libraries to install. You can install additional symbol libraries later.

  1. From the Control Panel select Add or Remove Programs.
  2. From the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, select the latest version of AutoCAD Electrical and click the Change/Remove button.
  3. On the AutoCAD Electrical Installation Wizard, click Add or Remove Features.
  4. On the Add/Remove Features page, click Next.
  5. On the Manufacturer Content Selection page, click Next.
  6. On the Select Symbol Libraries page, select the libraries you wish to install and click Next.
  7. Click Next to continue.

Also, make sure your project properties and drawing properties are configured for IEC style tagging.
