ACADE and user profiles

Is there any way to point E at a centralized set of files? I have a
client whose network policies allocate less space than E needs.

This may or may not be what you're looking for... but it is easy to move a
large chunk of the installed data up to a network drive. Here is a piece of
a recent thread in this news group that describes the process:

I think you can pick up the whole folder structure that has the wd.env file
in it and move the whole thing up to a network drive. Then go to your AcadE
OPTIONS --> FILES --> Support File Search Path list and add a path pointing
right at this network drive folder where the wd.env now sits. I think that
this is all you have to do. Give it a try and let me know if this doesn't
work out for you.



You can also move the schematic and panel layout symbol libraries to a
shared network drive. Let me know if the above is "not enough".
