I have a pipe network that is inserting labels on the wrong side of the
pipe. I have an arrow that should be anchored to the bottom outer wall,
with 0 offset, and it's labeling on the top (see screen shot attached)? Any
ideas?
Thanks,
Tyler

What direction is this profile drawn?
I've had some labels get wacky if the profile was
drawn right to left instead of the normal/default left to right.

Left to Right and upstation = upstream.

I've been using one of the tutorial files to play around with this label and I can get the same result you're getting, but only if I change the profile view style to be right to left. Doing this makes all the labels flip out, up be comes dow, top is bottom, above becomes below. I tried reversing the pipe, the alignment, profiles view, and different combinations of all three. Right to left view seems to be the only way to cause this behavior. .... and in my opinion, bad behavior.

I had the same problem - and so I created a child style that was for right to left profiles. Visually it works.

My profile is left to right, however the pipe flows right to left. Is this
the source of the problem? If so, is there a fix. Notice the style shows
the arrow should be attached to the bottom of the pipe but is showing up on
top. Also, notice the stationing
is left to right (typical direction).

Flow direction doesn't matter.
Just this morning I discovered another cause for upside down profile pipe labels. Check your pipe label style for the 'plan readability' property on the 'general tab'. Set it to 'true' and it should fix it.

Didn't work. It's a profile issue, not a plan issue. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Tyler

Even though this is a profile label issue, the plan readability setting does affect the label, There are no separate pipe label styles for plan view or a profile view. They're lumped together under 'plan profile' label styles. It's up to the user to use an appropriately constructed style for the intended view.
Hmmm, try this, on the general tab, under behavior, there is a "Forced Insertion" property. If it's set to 'none' the labels (in my drawing) work fine. If I set it to 'Top', some of the flow direction arrows move to the top of the pipe. I don't know why is only affecting some of the pipes and not all of them.
If this is it, could you post a screen shot of the 'general' tab in your style so I can duplicate your style.
Later,
Mark
