We are being requested by more municipalities to perform a hydraulic analysis on the water system before we can extend water to the site. This is very crude doing it by hand. I have seen different softwares available that run inside of Civil 3D that will perform the hydraulic analysis. I was wondering if anyone had used any of those and how others were performing hydraulic analysis. Any assitance would be appreciated.

We just baught H2ONet by Innovyze. Haven't used it yet since the project hasn't started up. It is used with plain AutoCAD, so I'm not sure yet how much it will use C3D objects if at all. Also looked at WaterCAD by Bentley, but price was too high. I'm curious to hear opinions as well....
