    anybody seen this anomaly

when i add a superimposed profile onto another profile, all i get is the triangles for the points of intersections, (existing surface). so there are lots of triangles showing the general flow of the land so so speak. Which means that the data is there. if i change the superinposed profile to another style it dissapears unless i turn on the markers for that style. kinda strange.

has anybosy seen that issue before.

    cheers

We had a report of such a defect (1217008, 1307117), in which the conditions were that all the objects that the superimposed profile depended on (source profile, source alignment, destination alignment) were references, and one or more weren't available causing a problem for the superimposed profile.  Is this your situation too?  We fixed this with Civil 3D 2011.

You may want to make sure all sources are available, then select the superimposed profile (maybe by selecting the markers), right click, superimposed options, and set the start & end stations manually.  See if that restores the superimposed profile geometry.

If this does not match/resolve your situation, you may want to open a case with Autodesk support and provide the data.  Thanks.

PS: it's always helpful to post which version of Civil 3D and update you are on.
