I've never had a problem projecting objects to a view: Blocks, points, FL.
I've not run into a need to project something that told me no way.
I still would like to understand what you would do with a projected alignemnt to a profile (sounds funny because a profile is a projected alignment)

Thank you for finding that for me. That was what I was looking for. I could go on a rant prior to 2012 I found the solution to 80% of my problems under help, and after 2012, I can't find anything.
