    VP layer freeze

Problem: Working in multiple viewports with multiple layers that need to be on/off, turn said layers on/off and save.  Exit out of the drawing file and open in a new session.  Layers in multiple viewports go back to original uneditted state.  This is in Civil 3d (2011).  Not sure if this is fixed in 2012 or 2013.

    Solution:  ???

If you are using the Layoff or Layfreeze command try entering the command, hit s and then hit enter to get to the settings. Now use the V option to get to the Viewport options. Set these to Vpfreeze if they are not already.

I have the VISRETAIN set to 1 and the layoff/layfreeze are set to "viewport" already.  Anything other settings I should check?
