I am currently running Civil 3D 2011, and I am considering upgrading. I would like to upgrade to Civil 3D 2013 since the first service pack has been released, but are there any reasons to upgrade to Civil 3D 2012 instead?
Are there still major issues with Civil 3D 2013?
I am on a subscription so there are no issues there.
I am Running Windows 7-Pro – 64 bit.
I have 8 Gb of Ram, and have a NVIDIA Quadro-600 video card.
Thanks

There are issues with every version. I'd go with 2013.

I'm still on 2011, so can't really advise. But if you outline what you use the software for, what parts you spend most time in, then someone may advise if 2012 or 2013 is more or less buggy in that area.

I'm in 2012 and a little reluctant to move to 2013, there isn't a whole lot different quite honestly. With 2014 around the corner, I would recommend waiting for 2014. Our entire company has already decided that skipping 2013 completely is the case. We will be rolling out 2014 upon it's initial release (April ish), hoping our friends at Autodesk have spent some time cleaning up all the bugs that are associated to the recent add-ons over the last couple years. Not a fan of seeing things broken that worked perfectly fine in a previous version.
