Trying to set defaults for Edit Surface operations

I am trying to change settings in my template so that some of the Edit operations are turned OFF by default in newly created surfaces.  Right now all of these options are turned on for each new surface.  The command settings for CreateSurface allows me to control the build options for new surfaces, but I cannot find anything for edits.

    TIA.

Steve, I had the same issue. What I did was create a surface called Template, set the edit defaults in that surface, and then use AutoCAD's copy when I want to create a new surface. You can't pick it from the screen, but if you right click on the surface in Prospector, select, then you can use AutoCAD's copy. It works ok, but I wish those defaults were part of the command settings. It's a small annoyance; I'm not gonna cry about it.
