I have text in a drawing that wont edit or delete. I have heard there was a text bug and to fix it set DTEXTED to 1. I have done that, closed out and came back in and the text is still there and will not delete or edit. Any ideas?

Is it some sort of Label? What do you get if you list it?

Locked layer? Try wblocking some to a new file and see if it still behaves badly there. If it does, post the file so we can take a look at it.

Okay I got it fixed. A co-worker messed around with it and changed "PICKFIRST" to 1 and that fixed it. Yay!
Tiffany,
The PICKFIRST variable controls whether you select objects before or after you use a command. This is known as noun-verb selection.
PICKFIRST = 0 turns off pickfirst, which means that you select objects after you use a command.
PICKFIRST = 1 turns on pickfirst, which meanst that you select objects before you use a command.
You can also get to this setting if you go under the AtuoCAD options. Options-->Selection Tab-->Selection Modes.
Hope that helps.
