Can you reverse a feature per layout

I have some sewer lines in a layout that are upside down ( we do have 6"ss in the line)

but if I reversefeature them it will make them upside down in the next layout

    thanks have a great day

Do you know about Dview Twist? Is there a reason you can't just use that function?

I tired dview twist but that seemed to do the same thing as mviewsetup

I need to reverse a sewer line differently in different layouts

not the whole view just one line

IM new to dview twist I might not have done it correctly

    thanks

I may be wrong but it sounds like the problem you are having is a linetype issue. Linetypes with text in the definition will not dynamically orient to a view so DVIEW TWIST will not help. There are no easy solutions if the line is inverted in some views but not others. Generally we have to live with upside down text in some cases unless someone insists on having it right in all views. In that case you'll have to blow some of your budget to make them happy.

Will this work, as a workaround?  Create a copy of the line and put it on a new layer.  Then reverse the copied line.  Then you can turn layers on of off in each viewport based on the orientation needed.

I was going to suggest looking into the upright linestyle as this keeps any text components in a line type upright as the line changes direction, but I just tried it out in rotated viewports and it does not work unfortunately.

This applies to both autocad lines and polylines as well as civil 3d pipe styles.
