Pressure Pipe Networks: setting Min cover AFTER laying out horizontal design

    Good afternoon.

I created a pressure pipe network but during horizontal design I did not specifiy a minimum cover depth.

After completing the horiz design I created a profile.  The network parts all have a centerline elevation of 0.00, which is expected.

Now I want to go back and specify the minimum cover but I don't know how.  If I type in 3-ft as part of the Network Properties menu, nothing happens.  And if I click on the "follow surface" button then the pipes and fittings are set at minimum depth but it adds vertices to the pipe parts which I don't want.  I would like only the pipe ends to be used to set the depth.

Any suggestions on how the min cover can be set other than to redraw the network with the depth setting set from the beginning?

    Thanks

assign the rules to the pipes and then select the pipes i think one at a time and right click apply rules.
