All of my points vanish after I use 3dorbit, can anyone else reproduce this? I have been able to make it happen in 2 different drawing but I can't seem to find anyone else with this problem, unless I just forgot how to search the board altogether.
My points still show up in the toolspace point list but auditing and regening does not bring them back to the drawing.
thanks
BTW, anyone up for a 2 year release cycle beside me???

So they vanish when you are in a model(3d) view, or vanish in Plan view? What version are you using? PC specs?
If the answer to question 1 is yes to the Model view, make sure your Point Style is set to display something in model view. Most are not by default....

I should have explained better because if I made that mistake I would quit my job. The points are GONE, they do not exist in the drawing. Styles are not turned off, layer isn't turned off, they are completely gone from the drawing.
Been a while since I have had time to look into this issue maybe I'll get back to it next week and see if I can get a better idea of what's going on and include a drawing.

I would try enabling/disablig hardware acceleration for your graphic card (3DCONFIG>Manual Tune) to see if that helps,
May be also to switch to some other Visual styles and check your graphic card drivers (make sure they are up to date and as much as possible certified http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/cert?siteID=1

Just had the same thing happen to me! Went to 3D orbit and then points are completely gone from the drawing. They are not listed in the Point Groups, don't exist in the Toolspace. Went to save the drawing to my desktop and that didn't work either. Had to export the drawing to an AutoCAD format and then open up a previously saved version.

I am having a similar problem, if I plot the drawing all of my points are deleted. I have been able to duplicate the problem pretty consistantly. The points don't exist in the prospector anymore either. The only thing I do each time I open the drawing is plot. I am using Civil 3D 2013 and do have ArcMap SDE data referenced in.
Is this a bug in 2013 because I also have issues with the background on point labels not displaying in the background color but displaying black so that I can't read the text. They print fine but don't display correctly.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
