After using the "Create Figure Interactively" I selected the points just used to create the figure and I do not get the pop up window when selecting "Survey Point Properties" from the ribbon as I do if I select other points not used to create the figure. I have used the "Update Survey Data from Drawing" and still nothing .... am I missing something?

It works correclty for me. I do have to press the button twice, though.
