I know that there used to be a way in land desktop to change an entire point group to the same layer without having to do each point separately. Can somebody please tell me how to do this in Civil 3d 2011?

Right-click on point group, Edit points
Is there a layer column in the panorama?
If so
Select all the points in the panorama (Ctrl+A)
Click on the word "Layer" (the column heading)
select 'Edit'

Option 2: Right-click the group in Prospector, choose Select, change the Layer on the Properties palette.
