I am referencing a pipe network in another drawing but the linetype seems to be either different or the wrong scale but when I change the scale nothing happens? Is it not possible to change ltscale of pipe?

Make sure the pipe style is the same in the original file and the file with the data reference. I have noticed that sometimes, the data reference may change the structure and pipe style to the default when referenced in, not the style in the original data file.
