Is there anyway to have the Pipe Networks tab of the Profile View Properties dialog box default to having "Show only parts drawn in profile view" selected automatically?

In 2012 there is what appears to be a setting to control the pipe network display, however the setting does not seem to function as expected. Same result regardless of setting. Maybe there is a setvar control buried somewhere.

    Hope someone has the answer.

The feature does function. When you CREATE a profile view, that setting is remembered. Create a profile view and check the options. Cancel out of it, change the setting and create another view. You'll see the options on the Pipe Network Display section have changed.

I agree that this setting should control the default value for when you go to the profile view properties, but it doesn't. Post it up in the wishes forum: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Civil-3D-Wishes/bd-p/185
