When editing the Cross Section Styles the Horizontal Axis changes do not take affect. Vertical will work as entered.

See attached image.

I am changing under the Horizontal Axes tab, on the Section View Styles Menu.

Am I in the right place.

It sounds like you're in the right place, but are you changing settings for the Major labels or the Minor ones?

sometimes when I think I know which style my section view is using I try to edit that style and nothing changes like what your seeing.   When actually the style being used by the section view is another style all together.   Could this be the case?

They wouldn't happen to be a data band?

Can you post the drawing?

It is much easier to sort issues like this with the drawing.
