Been noticing this Initial View box on dialogs recently - any ideas how to get rid of/reposition it??

(No connection with Autodesk other than using the products in the real world)

IDSP Premium 2014 (mainly Civil 3D 2014 but also 3ds Max Design)
Win 7 Pro x64, 256Gb SSD, 300Gb 15,000 rpm HDD
16Gb Ram Intel Xeon CPU E5-1607 0 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
NVIDIA Quadro 4000, Dual 27" Monitor, Dell T3600
(No connection with Autodesk other than using the products in the real world)

IDSP Premium 2014 (mainly Civil 3D 2014 but also 3ds Max Design)
Win 7 Pro x64, 256Gb SSD, 300Gb 15,000 rpm HDD
16Gb Ram Intel Xeon CPU E5-1607 0 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Hi Neil,
You may want to try setting THUMBSAVE to 0 or uncheck the "Save a thumbnail preview image" from OPTIONS | Open and Save tab as shown in the screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/kLBdIWaWH71h

Thanks for the suggestion Matt but unfortunately it didn't work although the old faithful trick of turning off Hardware Acceleration and then turning it back on seems to have got rid of the problem

Hey neilyj,
Can you go to registry and try setting follwoing key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R19.0\
Will that work?
