I tried to import the Lane Toward Crown subassembly to my Lanes tab, but the import function looks for *.pkt files and all I have in the Stock Subassemblies folder are *.vb files.
How can I get the *.pkt files?

*.pkt files are generated by the Subassembly Composer. As of current, the pkt files for stock subassemblies are not available.
I am guessing that you are now using Civil 3D 2012 and you realized that LaneTowardsCrown is no longer included in the stock subassemblies like you were used to in previous versions. The LaneSuperelevationAOR subassembly replaced multiple subassemblies including this one. There is a Parameter that allows you to specify Slope Direction (Away From Crown or Towards Crown). Give it a try!

Thanks
I had just seen a Jerry Bartles video and the C3D version he was using still had it in the palette. I didn't realize the AOR replaced it.
