Hide/unhide commands,
I’m not sure if there is a way to unhide particular “elements” out of those hidden elements. The “unhide” command shows ALL the hidden elements.
Is there a way to unhide particular hidden elements?
Thank you
Best

Nope. Unhide affects the entire drawing. You can continue to hide additional things but when you are done, you must unhide them all.
If you think about it, when you hide something, you select it. How are you to tell C3D what to unhide if you can't select them?

Thank you BrianHailey for the reply,
Revit answers! In the Revit, there is a mode called “reveal hidden elements”. This gives the opportunity to unhide the elements you like. I thought that the C3D might have such strong feature!
Please, have a look on the screenshots below that show how elements are hidden and unhidden

Nothing like that in AutoCAD unless you want to do some custom programming.

That might be done in lisp. (redraw [<ENAME>][<MODE>])
Mode.
1 Redraw Entity
2 Undraw Entity (Blank it out)
3 Highlight Entity
4 Unhighlight Entity
At least that was how it worked in R12. I can't find much information on it. But I got it to work after reading [this]
In Softdesk and Land Desktop there was a function (ZZ_BLINK) that would make a selection set blink on and off. They never used it for anything and it didn't make it to Civil 3D.

Many thanks guys for the help,
May be we need to wait the next versions of the C3D to get this problem solved.
