Help! What happened to the Grading and layout toolbar? - 1 attachment

Please see the JPG file attached and let me know if any of you have had
this problem. I clicked the little pushpin which is supposed to make it
minimize. When it did, it minimized the width, and when I click around the
edges, there are no options to change the window size so I'm stuck with
this itty bitty window that only shows half of the tools. Has anybody seen
this or found a fix for it?

Make sure you don't do this.

Just a quick word of warning for anyone else who has this problem. It can
be dupicated simply by clicking the pushpin and moving the mouse away.
Drag the menubar somewhere to the right half of the screen and voila, the
pulldown from the pushpin will no longer come down and the width is
reduced. Click the X and click grading>Grading layout toolspace again, and
you will get back the tools, but the width is still reduced. Please let
there be a fix for this. I spent hours customizing. I'm sure it's a math
error in the X's and Y's and the way it adapts to the screen, probably in
an editable format somewhere in the program, but I have no clue where.

Alan,
I was able to reproduce this. That dialog location and size are saved to the
registry. When you move the cursor over it to select the title bar (when
it's pinned) it will expands to its correct size so when you move the
toolbar it saves the location correctly. However, as you discovered if
you're quick enough you can move it before it expands so it saves the
collapsed size.
You can be fix it but it requires you to edit the registry. Are you familiar
with doing that? From the Windows Start menu, select Run then enter the
command name Regedit.
Starting from HKEY_CURRENT_USER, expand the tree to the Profiles key for
AeccUiDlgGradingLayoutTool. Your acad number may be different, and you
profile name may be different.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.2\
Profile>>\Dialogs\AeccUiDlgGradingLayoutTool\Windo
You could also use Find and just search for AeccUiDlgGradingLayoutTool.
It has a WindowPos key (sub-folder). Just delete it. Next time you run the
grading layout tool it will go back to the default location and size.
