Greetings,
I'm trying to publish a .dwg to Googl Earth. When I go through the wizard everything is fine until I come to the end. It succesfully creates a .kmz file, but when I click on "View" it gives an error "Viewer Failed". I'm running Windows 7, and Google Earth 5.0.

I have been experiencing similar issues while attempting to publish pipeline alignments to Google Earth. The .kmz is created, but when I click on "view", Google Earth will initalize and then freezes up while loading. To get around this, I usually have to get out of both programs and (sometimes rebooting) which seems to clear up whatever glitch is there. I am running Windows XP and Google Earth 5.1 with C3D 2009.

I have also had this problem. I am running Civil 3D 2010 on Windows 7 with Google Earth Pro V6.
Rebooting the PC did not work for me. But, reinstalling Google Earth did resolve the problem.
Maybe it had just lost the link between Civil & Google Earth.
