Been using Civil 3D in conjunction with LDT 2004 for about 2 months. The following observations:
ALIGNMENTS:
1. Angle format - Curve Delta formats only to Deg, Min, no Sec. Set to deg min sec.00 spaced.
2. Geometry Point - Set as:
Orientation - Object
Plan Readable - False
Plan Readable Bias - 100°00'00"
Forced Insert - None
Forced Inside - True
The PC/PT labels for right hand curves are correct (reading along the alignment). Labels for left hand curves are facing backwards (Reading towards the alignment start). Setting Forced Inside to False displays all Geometry Point labels backwards.
PROFILE:
3. Bands - Profile View - Band Styles - Profile Data - Cannot get labels at Minor Stations to display. Labels on Major Stations work fine. Have set up Profile1 & Profile2 labels in Major & Minor Increments in Band Details. In Profile View Properties - Bands - Profile Data - Profile1 is set to the finish profile and Profile2 is set to existing ground profile.
4. VC Labels - Need to have the capability to change format for individual vertical curve labels (vert offset, above/below profile, etc.) to adjust for other profile data (culverts, drainage, etc.).
