    Custom Linetype

I am trying to create a new linetype using arrows to show the direction of a flow. I can get the outline of my arrow head to save as a shape, but have not figured out how to save the hatching to show up in a linetype. I need the arrow head to be shaded in solid. How can I make this appear this way? Also is there any downloadable linetypes out there for Civil 3D?

You can't save a hatch in a shape. You have to use repeated parallel lines, close together, to simulate a solid hatch.

You could also use the measure or divide command. Run the command, select the beginning side of your polyline, specify "Block", and set it to align to the polyline.

Or you  can make any mview block populate or slide along a polyline.
