I am working in a drawing which has a large surface and slows down my dwg. As I enter into the dwg, a popup window is displayed with two options, 1) keep regular display of surface which can slow down the dwg 2) adjust the graphics to speed up drawing when working with large surface models.
Well, I opted the second option. When i zoom extents, the contours are not displayed as true spacing but as i zoom in, the contours adjust. I don't like this option but cannot seem to figure out how to get it back to the default setting. Any clues as to how i can do this?

I believe it has to deal with the Level of Detail toggle. See attached image.
