Is there something different about 2012 Civil 3D that causes Google Earth not to work now.
Has anyone else experanced the same problem?
The image sometimes shows up but the topo seems to lock up every time.
Did they change the setting?

Could you post the steps to reproduce the problem you are experiencing?
What is the version of Google Earth you are using?

Try changing your drawing's coordinate system.
For instance, NAD83(CSRS) / UTM zone 11N is broken in C3D 2012, but GE works fine with UTM with NAD83 datum, Zone 11, Meter, Central Meridian 117d W.
Haven't tried it with surfaces, but doing that solved my problems with trying to import just an image.

Civil3d 2012 was broke with Google earth on mine initially. I finally had something that came up and said wrong version on Google Earth. I uninstalled Google earth 6 and installed Google Earth 5 and it worked fine, so you may want to check and see what version you are using.
