I tried to open my Subassembly Composer this morning and it gave me an error message that said, "Subassembly Composer encountered a severe error, and will exit now." I proceeded to unistall the program, restart my computere and install the program again. Once I opened the program again, it gave me the same error message.  Please help!  Thanks!

That's very strange.  I am just getting this error too.  I have completely removed it and reinstalled it with no success.  Still trying...

Were you ever able to fix this?  I'm having the same problem now.  Worked okay yester day, severe error today...

Unfortunately no. It may have been fixed with 2013 according to some of the new threads, however I haven't tried it on 2013 yet.

I did manage to get mine working.  I'm not sure what fixed it but I ran a chkdsk/r and also scanned the registry with ccleaner.
