Jason:
Thank you for acknowledging the request. I do hope I'm not the only one asking for it. I'll be the first at my company to try out and propose using whichever software does it competently first. So far I've heard that Revit MEP + EaglePoint Site Works is close to it, although I have my doubts that it would work as seamlessly as some say....

Speaking of object enablers, why is it that there is an object enabler install right at the end of the installation process? Is that new? Wouldn't think the object enabler is needed for the product that is being installed.

My guess is it enables Revit objects to be viewed in C3D.

The Object Enabler is installed onto Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis 2012 which is installed at the tail end of the installation.

Here goes. Regarding my issue earlier in this thread regarding the lag. After some back and forth and collaborating, Autodesk called me today to say there indeed was an issue that is problematic with CAD 2012. For me it was manifested by the number of layers exceeding some number. Apparently this issue manifests itself in opther ways aswell. I was advised this has gone straight to the top of the chain of command and is requiers a hotfix immedialty. So there you have it. Hotfix on the way!

I've been working with 2012 sine the box hit my desk. I notice a few things but not real big. The things I've noticed is the dtext problem when editing, I've been having some problems in the 32 bit install were I create a new layer and then try to change the color but the color want take ( only in 32 bit).
Another thing I've noticed is some feature line/brake lines problems. The problem seems to be after I add new feature lines to an existing surface some of the existing feature line/brake line loses there effect on the surface. But note they worked and had effect on the surface prior to the newly added feature lines/brake lines. Also note these added feature lines are in a total different area of the surface so should not affect the feature lines/brake lines. So what I needed to do was explode the feature lines that no longer had effect on the surface, and then use the command “create feature lines from object”, and then add the feature line back into the surface as brake line.
Please let me know if you have any questions etc.
Thanks
Danny
