Assembly Offsets

I have two questions regarding assembly offsets:
1. Do slope patterns function on subassemblies hanging from offsets?
2. Do sections function with offsets? I have daylights hanging from offsets
in my cul-de-sac and they aren't showing in section view.
I have a cul-de-sac set up with offsets (to correctly model the grading and
sidewalk) and the daylights and sidewalks look great, however, the two items
mentioned above are not working? Is this a known bug, or am I missing
something?
