In trying to troubleshoot the lag issue that occurs when the properties window is left open, we are trying to optimize our Trend Micro Anti Virus scan exclusions. We have added Appdata, Program Files, An ACAD_Temp directory where all temp files are stored. Is there anything I'm missing?
I also noticed that the lock file for Drawing1 is stored in the My Documents folder. Is there a way to change that aside from not opening a Drawing1 on start-up?
Thanks for any tips
Kirk

I use to do this for Norton yrs ago. I am not familiar with that AV package but you may want to add specific file extensions to the exclusion list if you still have AV lag. I use to add dwg, dwt, lin, mnu, mns, mnl,, pat, lsp, ac$, sv$ and more. With the newer versions you may also want to include dst, tmp, dmp and more.

Just a note - I found that the Nvidia Nview Destop Manager was a major culprit in the lag I was experiencing.
