Alignment types question

Does it matter what Alignment Type I select when making an alignment from objects?

What impact could that have on my Corridor?

It seems that I can control the widening of my Assembly with a Centerline type alignment even though it is more of an Offset or Curb Return alignment type.  Do the different Alignment Types behave differently?  Maybe for some sub-assemblies?

Nothing will corrupt or have tremendous negative effects on your file by choosing a 'wrong' alignment type. Use common logic and all should be OK. If you need to change and alignment type this can be done right in the alignment's properties dialog.
