I was given a file with LDT points in it that show point#,Elev, Desc. When I convert the description  turn into a number. How does that happen and how can I change it to convert the description correctly?

DescriptionKeySet with codes that match what you show would do that.

The drawing file came from a no c3d source and the description key sets are blank?

Joe, it would be easiest if you asked your source for the LDT description keys.  C3D can import them and then you'll probably see the real descriptions.  What's going on here is C3D appears that it converts using the Raw description, where your LDT points are showing the Full descirption.

You could open up your template drawing and copy paste the other drawing into it then run the ldt convert.
