Other programs(i.e MDT) allow you to select the break lines from the drawing layers.
If I have the drawing organized in layers, each type of feature line in a separate layer, if I add them as different sets of breaklines I have to make a filter to select the elements of a layer and make this process repeatedly.
That is, if I have the layer "walls" that includes polylines and feature lines and I want to add as breaklines, I have to select the elements of this layer with a "filter" and then add it as a breakline.
I would like to indicate that the layers and create as many sets breaklines, and are by name, the name of the layer.
Making a filter is pretty simple... Select one object of the type you want to include and right click "Select Similar" It will find everything in the drawing that is of the same type and layer of the object selected.

yes, I use a filter, but I want an automatic process.
That is, if I select from a list, the layers, the program creates a set of linebreak for each layer, automatically, without having to make a selectionfilter for each layer.
In this cases, I use the same type of breakline( standar) and the same parameters.
See it with this capture image: (program Aplitop MDT)

Certainly, one can isolate layers, isolate objects, etc... to make a selection, however, adding a select objects by layers dialogue, is an easy and quick method of selection, especially for large drawings.
Such a selection method, shouldn't just be limited to breaklines, but for many other functions as well, such as contours, etc...
I'm not talking about making a filter or isolating the layers to make the selection. I use the "Select Similar" that will pick everything in a large drawing after you select one item that fits the criteria.
