Symbol Manager

Would like to see the return of the Surveying related symbols, i.e. north arrows, scale bar, monuments, trees, and so on.

Check this out on Jasons website. I set this up and so far it works beautifully.

One easier step, start Design center ctrl-2 and go to the folder where the blocks are that you want to create a Tool Palette from and right click on the folder and at the bottom is an option to create a tool palette from folder.

This will automatically create a tool palette from the folder selected and if any of the block should change in the future the changes will show up.

\docs and setting\alluser\applicationdata\autodesk\land2007\t17.0\data\symbolmanager\....... pick you folder of choice

If you've never used Design center check it out, great tool for plagiarizing from .dwgs........ check it out. Nothing new...

True, and I think I included that info. The bad news is that doing
that creates one lllooonnnggggg tool palette. Doing it my way splits
is up the way Symbol Manager had it split, so it's a little more familiar.

Agreed. Along with the other previously mentioned symbols I would also like to see the return of signing and striping symbols perhaps as a part of the tool palette. Thank you.
