Profile Band Titles

I WISH that when the profile band title text offers "Left" or "Right" as an option, it meant LEFT or RIGHT, not "Left plus some gap based on today's maximum air temperature". There is only so much width on a Long Section sheet, and a 1" gap on the far edge of profile view is sometimes make-or-break to getting it inside the borders. Having a grip on the text would be nice too, but that would be very un-Civil 3D-like now, wouldn't it?

I know, I know, that makes it to Civil 3D Wish List Priority #13598...

Oh no, looks like I've thought this was a bigger issue than it is for everyone else and thus posted it in the wrong DG. Still, I've consistently had this problem with since '06 SP1 which I started with.

Yeah, that's what my box says too. I'll try rebuilding a couple of bands from scratch, just in case I've managed to corrupt them. I seem to recall changing the colour mucked with them a long, long time ago... *racks brains*

Nope, just created a new one from scratch, and had the same thing (see screenshot). I've fiddled with all sorts of combinations between the title format justification and the insert location, can't make it work.
