Label Styles to Use "Current Layer"

It sure would be nice to have an option to "Use Current Layer" instead of creating a separate label style each time you want the label to be on a different layer.

There may be a way to do this already, I know today one of my labels kept coming in on the current layer and it was not set up on purpose to do that, lol. So maybe someone can chime in on that.

Create your label style to be on the Zero Layer. The object layer take precedence.

It would be nice if object layers could be set to current. Points seem to be the only objects that can do this, even in 2012. I'm guess its the same in 2013. I have my fingers crossed for 2014.
