    Freeze new layer

I don't imagine that there is a way to do this now, but I would love to see it in future versions. When I create a new layer, more specifically in a drawing with multiple layouts, I would like there to be a way to have that new layer ONLY visible in the viewport (or layout) that I am currently in.

I know there is a freeze in current viewport, I guess this would be the opposite. This would be really helpful for the drawing I am currently in, which has 65 layouts. Instead of freezing this new layer in all but one of the 65 layouts, it would only be visible in the current viewport (or layout). Just a thought and I am not even sure if this is possible.

    Thanks

I think you are looking for the VPLAYER command with this option:

    "Newfrz (New Freeze)

Creates new layers that are frozen in all viewports.

Enter name(s) of new layers frozen in all viewports: Enter one or more layer
    names"

Although this does freeze it in the current VP so you need to Thaw it in the
    current VP.
